If you are a new member (of the Association or to the Area) you will normally be contacted by the Secretary of the appropriate Group, who will send you a current programme of walks.

To go on a walk, just telephone the leader and tell him or her that you intend to come on the designated walk. Most Groups have meeting points where they leave some cars and travel in the remainder to the point from which the walk starts. Just turn up either at the meeting point or the start point and make yourself known to the leader. If you have not walked with the Ramblers before, just mention that to the leader.
