National Ramblers event in Bristol

Like to find out more about what’s happening in the Ramblers throughout Britain?
Why not come along to the Ramblers’ General Council (AGM) in Bristol on Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th April 2020?
Staff and members from England, Scotland, and Wales will be in Bristol to hear some interesting and inspiring speakers, join city walks, and enjoy meeting Ramblers from other areas.
Avon Ramblers can volunteer to attend the whole weekend as one of our delegates, or observers, at the Marriott Hotel (the one pictured above, on the far side of Castle Park). We’re also looking for volunteers to lead short city walks from the hotel, or to spend a few hours welcoming our visitors at the registration desk, or assisting at one of the General Council sessions, by counting votes, or acting as timekeepers.
All volunteers will be invited to the dinner at the hotel on Saturday evening and, when not ‘on duty’, volunteers can sit in and listen to the General Council sessions.
